As part of a very busy end to 2023 I composed and sound designed for Le Navet Bete's new production King Arthur, touring nationally this year. My first collaboration with the LNB team, and a thoroughly emnjoyable one!

Had great fun returning to the Quirk crew for the second year running. This time more orchestral arrangements, alongside 1980s montage rock, 1940s Jazz...and fart sounds.

I worked on the R&D in 2021 for this comedy musical that unpacks the Swings and Roundabouts of the first year of parenthood. It's now out on a full tour and it's been a blast working with the team again arranging, composing and sound designing. https://www.sophie-ross.co.uk/

I've just got back from an amazing week at Hawkwood working on a brand new theatrical show with Vanessa Kisuule on the subject of climate change.

Spent a great week rehearsing and recording new material with Concrete Disco for release and performance in 2020.

In my second commission for a Kathryn O'Reilly short, I recently completed the music and sound design for SOLO, a short study in isolation. It will be submitted to festivals in 2019

I am excited to be working on the soundtrack to a short film written and directed by Kathryn O'Reilly, who also plays one of the two main roles. It's a 90's throwback comedy short and great fun to write for. I just received the footage to work with today so gonna get stuck in this week!

I have started a youth band practice at My Neighbours the Dumplings restaurant in Clapton and finished up for the term with their first live performance! A set of 4 songs was well received by a rapturous audience, who demanded an encore of Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit 

A theatre production examining the care system and mental health issues. Scheduled for its first performance this Autumn at Ovalhouse Theatre. I am working on the music and sound design, particularly to create the internal mental world of the main protagonist.

We are in the final stages of production on our new album which is due for release this Autumn. Excited to hear the tracks coming together and the album taking shape!

Alex Lane, with whom I perform my Jonny Falls Over material live, is working on the final mixes for new tracks which will be released in the Autumn. First mixes are nearly done and I am recording new material this Summer to complete a new album.
